Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and operate secure Customer IAM and Workforce IAM solutions.
- Configure and support PingDirectory and PingFederate in production environments.
- Develop authentication and authorization integrations across internal systems and customer-facing platforms.
- Implement SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect integrations and API-driven identity solutions.
- Build and operate IAM platforms using DevOps and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, automated deployment, configuration, and scaling for IAM systems.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and Tier-3 support for IAM-related issues.
- Support identity governance, access controls, identity lifecycle management, audits, security standards, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with engineering, platform, security, risk, compliance, and product teams and provide guidance on IAM integrations.
- Document architecture, integrations, operational procedures, and IAM best practices.
- Use GenAI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot responsibly to improve engineering productivity and quality.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Identity and Access Management covering both Customer IAM and Workforce IAM.
- Strong hands-on production experience with Ping Identity, particularly PingDirectory and PingFederate, including configuration, integration, and operational support.
- Experience integrating IAM capabilities into distributed systems, enterprise applications, and customer-facing digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
- Experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory or comparable identity platforms.
- Experience integrating IAM platforms with applications and services.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and operational support for critical systems.
- Experience with PingOne MFA or other modern multi-factor authentication platforms is desirable.
- Exposure to Privileged Access Management technologies is desirable.
- Experience in regulated environments, particularly financial services, is desirable.
- Experience contributing to secure system design and threat modelling is desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
