Responsibilities
- Support the vision and guide a team of engineers building and supporting digital products and services.
- Partner with User Experience, Product Management, IT, Data & Analytics, Emerging Tech, Innovation, and Process Engineering teams.
- Support software development strategy using industry standards and create implementation roadmaps based on business requirements.
- Expand digital product capabilities through services-driven solutions using data and AI for automated and personalized experiences.
- Identify and help resolve delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes related to engineering initiatives.
- Work with business partners to recommend solutions aligned with strategic business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant software development and engineering management experience.
- Commanding knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, Node.js, React or React Native, and frontend or full-stack engineering.
- Experience with Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and cloud-specific PaaS and SaaS solutions.
- Experience with mission-critical 24x7 systems, high-throughput cloud-native distributed systems, and large-scale web services.
- Deep knowledge of design patterns and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
