Base Salary
$100k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build polished, intuitive UIs that surface computer vision model outputs for end users.
- Solve complex geometric problems and develop streaming systems and sophisticated user interactions.
- Rapidly prototype features and iterate based on direct user feedback.
- Help shape the product and engineering culture as one of the startup’s first engineers.
Requirements
- Strong React and TypeScript skills with full-stack engineering ability.
- Python proficiency and comfort solving open-ended, math-oriented problems.
- Demonstrated experience taking a product from 0 to 1, ideally with real traction or paying customers.
- Solid computer science fundamentals or an exceptional project portfolio demonstrating equivalent ability.
- Experience as a founder, founding engineer, or early startup employee.
- Empathetic, honest communication and a product- and customer-oriented approach.
- Exceptional recent graduates with strong fundamentals and hustle are welcome to apply.
- US citizenship is required.
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS is a plus.
- Background in construction, real estate, or PDF workflows is a bonus.
- Motivation to support the mission of making housing more affordable.
Benefits
- Base salary of $100,000 to $180,000 USD annually.
- Equity is expected given the founding-team nature of the role.
- On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week.
