Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product loop from failure detection and ingestion through patch generation, verification, and customer delivery.
- Build reproduction logic, guardrails, and checks that prevent unsafe pull requests from reaching customer repositories.
- Work directly with customers by reviewing traces, participating in communication channels, and identifying failures before escalation.
- Make architectural decisions involving schema design, service boundaries, and speed-versus-correctness tradeoffs.
- Define engineering culture and standards for testing, on-call practices, and release criteria.
- Work across detection quality, high-volume ingestion pipelines, and the customer-facing review UI.
- Operate and debug production systems using observability and monitoring practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience shipping production software with a track record of working across specialties.
- Strong TypeScript proficiency across frontend and core services.
- Experience working with data at volume and making cost-aware engineering decisions.
- Experience building and operating AI agents in production environments.
- Experience designing and optimizing high-volume data pipelines.
- Strong product sense and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into well-considered solutions independently.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and production debugging.
- Ability to make long-term architectural decisions in an early-stage, small-team environment.
- Experience with pull request review automation or code quality tooling is a bonus.
Benefits
- Salary range of $150,000 to $200,000 USD annually.
- On-site in San Francisco, California, six days per week.
