Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Rebuild the existing product into scalable agentic infrastructure capable of serving a million users.
- Design and operate the agent runtime, including orchestration, memory, verification, and reliability systems.
- Own full-stack work across backend, infrastructure, frontend, and agent systems.
- Define the technical architecture, stack, engineering standards, and initial engineering culture.
- Ship production software weekly for businesses relying on the product.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience shipping production software, or an equivalent track record as a founder or solo builder.
- Demonstrated experience building and operating LLM or AI agent systems in production for real users.
- Full-stack ability spanning backend, infrastructure, and user interface development.
- Experience scaling prototypes into production infrastructure, including architecture, data modeling, runtime, and orchestration.
- Experience owning technical decisions as a founder, early hire, or solo technical lead.
- Strong founder instincts; prior founder experience is a strong signal.
- Familiarity with agent orchestration, agent memory, evaluations, verification systems, or multi-agent workflows is preferred.
- A strong academic or professional engineering background is helpful but not required.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or genuinely open to relocating there.
