Responsibilities
- Review and clarify business requirements with business analysts.
- Prepare cards solution proposals, technical designs, sequence diagrams, and interface trackers.
- Align cards solutions with architecture frameworks, bank strategies, IT principles, and governance.
- Define and document current-state and target architectures, APIs, services, and integrated applications.
- Coordinate across application, infrastructure, data, digital, risk, security, software, and engineering teams.
- Identify cross-team dependencies, risks, and issues and propose mitigation plans.
- Technically lead development teams, drive best practices, and support high-quality delivery.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to resolve conflicts and clarify solutions.
- Support agile delivery, strategic objectives, roadmaps, and change initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience in cards architecture covering issuing, authorization, and settlement.
- Product subject matter expertise with VisionPLUS and/or HPS.
- Experience with API architecture and software architecture design.
- Knowledge of business analysis, IT infrastructure, cloud development, DevOps, and project or product management.
- Experience defining API and microservice architecture solutions and documenting current-state and target architectures.
- Ability to balance business requirements with functional and technical strategy and follow architecture governance.
- Strong communication, analytical, collaboration, persuasion, negotiation, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, influence diverse stakeholders, and work across functional and technical teams.
