Responsibilities

Translate product-management requirements into product features and software architecture.
Perform hands-on coding, code review, and testing of Java mid-tier applications.
Guide and assist developers and peers on the team.
Improve software-development quality processes and collaborate with development and testing teams.
Work with product management to define future requirements.
Support project scoping and execution for management.

At least 5–10 years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring, MVC patterns, Gradle, and Maven.
B Tech, MCA, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
Experience with disciplined unit, regression, and integration testing.
Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design and design patterns.
Effective use of XML and JSON.
Experience with Windows and Linux, including basic troubleshooting.
Experience working with databases and SQL, including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of software-development processes and quality standards.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Docker, Kubernetes, Java, Go, React or another UI framework, microservices and UI development, CVS, Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Hadoop, Spark, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery is preferred.
