Responsibilities
- Engineer, deploy, configure, integrate, and sustain mission-critical systems across Linux, cloud, and containerized environments.
- Administer Linux infrastructure and troubleshoot operating system, application, network, container, cloud, and integration issues.
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, orchestration environments, and production containerized applications.
- Implement DevSecOps automation for software builds, testing, deployment, configuration, and infrastructure management.
- Support releases, CI/CD workflows, system integration, testing, installation, upgrades, patching, maintenance, and operational sustainment.
- Monitor system health, availability, capacity, and performance while identifying and resolving operational risks.
- Develop deployment procedures, system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support and travel as needed for installation, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science and 12+ years of relevant experience, with permitted substitutions of four additional years of experience for the bachelor's degree or a master's degree for two years of required experience.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph with the Fort Meade customer.
- Experience with DevSecOps, software and system deployments, Linux system administration, containerization, cloud environments, automated deployment, configuration management, and CI/CD processes.
- Recent experience within the last three years with Kubernetes, cluster orchestration environments, and deploying and sustaining containerized applications and infrastructure.
- Experience troubleshooting complex Linux, container, cloud, network, and application integration issues.
- Active IAT Level II CWIP or DoD 8570-compliant certification, such as Security+, and an active CCNA certification.
- Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support and willingness to travel for system installation, maintenance, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Preferred experience includes Intelligence Community or Department of Defense mission systems, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, production-scale Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, automated configuration management, monitoring, centralized logging, observability, and secure enterprise infrastructure integration.
