Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Build model and architectural components that improve ads personalization using user preferences and history.
- Design real-time infrastructure and representations of user-viewed content.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate technology choices.
- Review other developers’ code for style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Collaborate with modeling and infrastructure teams across Ads to improve personalization impact and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of programming experience in Python or C++.
- At least 1 year of experience building and deploying production recommendation-system models involving retrieval, prediction, ranking, personalization, search quality, or embeddings.
- At least 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, or debugging.
- Experience with large language models, multimodal modeling, or large vision modeling.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing and optimizing machine learning algorithms for personalization, ranking, and content recommendation.
