Responsibilities
- Build core machine learning systems for a proactive, long-horizon AI product.
- Own data preparation, training, evaluation, inference, and iteration end-to-end.
- Translate research ideas into reliable production systems.
- Debug model failures and system issues using production signals.
- Optimize systems for latency, cost, reliability, safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Monitor, resolve, and maintain robust training, inference, and data pipelines.
- Mentor and review other machine learning engineers through technical guidance and example.
- Collaborate with research, product, and engineering to integrate ML features into products.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping machine learning systems used by real users.
- Understanding of how modern machine learning models behave and fail in production.
- Strong production-quality coding and systems thinking.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver ambiguous projects end-to-end.
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly, and improve through iteration.
