Base Salary
$129k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, validate, and optimize software for simulation, system modeling, automation, and cloud-based development environments.
- Collaborate with firmware, driver, operating system, middleware, SDK, architecture, silicon design, and software teams to enable shift-left development.
- Develop scalable software and automation frameworks that improve developer productivity and product readiness.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues involving system software, simulation environments, firmware, and hardware-software interactions.
- Apply AI-assisted development practices and automation to improve engineering efficiency and software quality.
- Improve performance, reliability, automation, and scalability across development workflows and contribute to technical reviews and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of experience; or a master's degree with 3+ years; or a PhD with 1+ years.
- Experience in software development or related technical disciplines, large-scale development environments, computer architecture, system software concepts, and executing technical projects.
- Experience with C++, Python, or similar programming languages and solving complex engineering problems.
- Preferred qualifications include system simulation, virtual platforms, modeling, emulation, low-level software debugging, cloud-native development, distributed systems, Kubernetes, containers, DevOps practices, or AI/ML applications in software engineering.
