Responsibilities
- Lead architecture initiatives for enterprise CI/CD capabilities, including source code management, software composition analysis, code quality scanning, automated testing, artifact management, continuous integration, deployment automation, and infrastructure automation.
- Define and evolve target-state architectures and technology roadmaps for modern software delivery toolchains.
- Establish enterprise architecture standards, design patterns, and governance processes for secure, scalable, resilient, and supportable platform solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and vendor offerings to support platform modernization and strategic technology decisions.
- Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and software delivery practices.
- Mentor architects and senior engineers while promoting architectural consistency, engineering excellence, and reuse.
Requirements
- 7+ years of architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise software delivery platforms, CI/CD ecosystems, DevOps platforms, or developer enablement platforms.
- 5+ years of experience architecting and implementing solutions with GitHub Enterprise, Harness, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Black Duck, Artifactory, or equivalent platforms.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud-native platforms and Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, or GitOps.
- 5+ years of experience in highly regulated industries such as financial services, banking, healthcare, insurance, or government is preferred.
- Experience with Internal Developer Platforms, API management and integration platforms, quality engineering, test automation, enterprise CI/CD transformation, platform modernization, or DevSecOps adoption is preferred.
- Industry certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps, DevSecOps, architecture, or related disciplines are preferred.
- Experience in large, complex, highly regulated organizations with strong risk management, governance, and compliance practices is preferred.
