Base Salary
$135k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop modular and agile autonomy capabilities for diverse defense problems.
- Integrate and deploy autonomy solutions onto embedded Linux and other hardware platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex integration and software issues for high reliability.
- Collaborate with autonomy engineers to integrate software with aircraft autopilots and sensors.
- Support live flight tests of autonomy software on unmanned aerial vehicles.
- Work with third-party UAS vendors to integrate autonomy software onto OEM hardware.
- Conduct system-level setup, testing, and validation, including SIL and HIL evaluations.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Robotics, Computer Science, or related engineering field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with robotic systems.
- Proficiency in C++ programming language.
- Experience with Pixhawk autopilots and communication protocols.
- Familiarity with Docker, Linux-based operating systems, and Git.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel frequently for on-site integration and demonstrations.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a U.S. security clearance.
