Base Salary
$165k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic extraction of a distributed architecture using Domain-Driven Design.
- Apply sociotechnical design principles to ensure scalable software development.
- Guide the creation of an internal developer platform treated as a tier-one product.
- Build frameworks for knowledge transfer and asynchronous decision-making.
- Act as a liaison between the C-suite and engineering teams to translate technical constraints into business risks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience at a Principal or Distinguished level.
- Deep expertise in modern cloud architecture and distributed systems.
- Demonstrated ability to drive alignment and mediate technical disputes without authority.
- Fluency in platform and team topologies, including engineering metrics.
- Intellectual humility and a willingness to embrace ambiguity and rapid prototyping.
