Base Salary

$148k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

Own remediation execution against cloud security findings in partnership with Infrastructure & Operations.
Design and implement security guardrails in engineering pipelines, including SAST and container scanning.
Build and operationalize data loss prevention controls at the cloud and application layer.
Manage cloud identity and access governance in collaboration with Infrastructure & Operations.
Write and tune cloud-side detection rules to improve alert fidelity.
Contribute to security architecture reviews for AI-powered products.
Serve as an embedded security engineering partner for portfolio company engineering teams.
Design and maintain AI-augmented workflows to enhance security operations.

5+ years in cloud security, application security, or a related security engineering discipline.
Deep hands-on experience with AWS security services and cloud posture tooling.
Practical AppSec experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with cloud identity platforms, including conditional access policy design.
Ability to write infrastructure-as-code and automate security controls using scripting languages.
Demonstrated experience building AI-augmented security workflows.
Strong communication skills to engage with engineering leadership and build trusted relationships.
Self-directed practitioner capable of setting execution priorities.
