Responsibilities
- Architect and implement AI solutions within SAP systems to improve business processes and decision-making.
- Design and deploy scalable, secure, high-performing AI applications on SAP BTP.
- Use SAP Generative AI Hub, SAP AI Core, SAP AI Business Services, SAP Integration Suite, and related BTP services.
- Develop and manage APIs and microservices integrating SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Use SAP BTP for data orchestration, analytics, and machine learning model deployment.
- Collaborate with business, solution, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify AI integration and automation opportunities.
- Optimize SAP systems for AI-driven analytics, predictive insights, and real-time decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and SAP best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Translate industry-specific business processes and desired outcomes into AI-driven technical architectures and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, and/or 10–15 years of expertise in applicable technical roles.
- Proven experience as an SAP Architect with expertise in AI technologies and SAP BTP.
- Proficiency with SAP BTP services including SAP AI Core, SAP AI Business Services, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Extension Suite.
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch and programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud, Vector Engines, Knowledge Graphs, A2A, and MCP technologies.
- Front-end knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, Fiori Web Components, and API usage.
- Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and SAP Fiori application development.
- Deep understanding of generative AI and prompt engineering.
- Strong business process acumen and the ability to address industry-specific business challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- SAP certification in SAP BTP or relevant modules is preferred.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and extensions using SAP BTP is preferred.
- Experience with end-to-end business process design and realization across SAP Business Suite solutions in at least one industry domain is preferred.
- Ability to translate business process requirements and desired outcomes into AI-driven technical designs and solution architectures is preferred.
