Base Salary
$194k - $233k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build software to orchestrate Zero Trust Segmentation at the application and pod level in container ecosystems.
- Understand and enhance container platforms including Kubernetes and related technologies.
- Own and design critical features and subsystems, including detailed technical designs and design reviews.
- Deliver scalable, stable, secure, supportable, and production-ready implementations.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
- Work with field organization members and key customers to shape the product.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software systems.
- Proficiency in at least one higher-level programming language such as Go, Python, or Java.
- Experience building large, distributed, and scalable software systems.
- Familiarity with and passion for Kubernetes and related technologies.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, networking concepts, and debugging.
- Networking and security controls experience is a plus.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
- Experience in a Unix/Linux programming environment.
