Responsibilities
- Write, test, and debug software, with emphasis on complex and critical components.
- Collaborate on project requirements, software design, and code reviews.
- Provide technical expertise and serve as a subject matter expert in specific domains.
- Research and propose solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Help define software requirements and specifications.
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues with operations and support teams.
- Contribute to assessing and adopting new technologies and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members through guidance and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role or of relevant software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and software development methodologies.
- Strong programming, debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
- An advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or training are preferred.
