Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance the open-source application platform across its infrastructure provisioning, application installation, and production reliability lifecycle.
- Own the end-to-end development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment to production.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex development initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and help develop their software engineering skills.
- Collaborate with development teams, operations teams, and product managers to solve complex problems.
- Apply DevOps best practices as part of a global team operating 24x7.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial experience regularly delivering quality software and overcoming technical challenges.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex technical solutions.
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, and at least one other modern programming language, with openness to learning additional technologies.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
- Strong communication skills and a humble, collaborative working style.
- Curiosity about customer impact and eagerness to tackle new challenges and continuously improve individual and team software engineering skills.
