Base Salary

$175k - $225k/yr

Responsibilities

Implement software features and components for trading systems.
Design software solutions independently and make architectural decisions.
Debug and fix software issues in trading systems.
Identify complex multi-component issues and implement preventative solutions.
Ensure code quality and system reliability through automated testing.
Contribute to the automated testing framework and own critical system components.
Participate in code reviews.
Monitor system performance and trading operations.
Collaborate with traders and other teams to deliver solutions.
Participate in planning and help balance technical debt with feature development.
Mentor and guide junior developers and interns.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
One year of experience in software engineering or a related occupation.
Experience applying analytical and engineering techniques to solve complex problems.
Proficiency in programming with Java, C/C++, or Python.
Experience developing and implementing algorithms and data structures.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices.
Experience building Kafka streaming applications and maintaining Kafka clusters.
Experience with big data backends such as S3, HDFS, Databricks, or Iceberg.
Experience with Apache Spark or Apache Flink.
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus/Grafana.
Unix scripting experience (bash or python).
