Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Contribute production code across ML deployment platforms, model-optimization workflows, and inference benchmarking and profiling infrastructure.
- Pair with senior engineers on deployment workflows, performance investigations, optimization experiments such as quantization, pruning, and distillation, and platform tooling.
- Build, test, and maintain validators, performance probes, parity and sensitivity analyzers, and agentic specialist tools.
- Investigate and help resolve production deployment and performance issues involving compilers, kernels, runtimes, and parity.
- Collaborate with autonomous-vehicle engineering teams to plan and execute model deployments to the vehicle software stack.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation.
- Apply secure coding, safety, and compliance practices for on-vehicle autonomous-driving software.
Requirements
- Recently completed or completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, ECE, or a related technical field by Spring 2026, with the degree completed before starting.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in areas such as data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer architecture, and solid coding skills in Python and/or C++.
- Hands-on AI/ML experience through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects.
- Depth in at least one of computer architecture, operating systems, distributed systems, or compilers.
- Demonstrated software-engineering experience through internships, coursework, open-source work, research code, or competitions.
- Experience with or strong interest in coding assistants and agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical work clearly.
- Preferred experience includes ML systems, ML compilers, GPU programming, inference optimization, distributed training or serving infrastructure, PyTorch, modern ML compiler and runtime stacks, model optimization, GPU profiling, ML workflow platforms, and agentic or LLM-powered tools.
- Familiarity with systems languages such as C++ and development in a Linux environment is preferred.
