Base Salary
$139k - $236k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms and software implementations for computer vision, sensor fusion, registration, and machine learning.
- Prototype and iterate on designs, develop tests, and deliver high-quality software in Python and/or C++.
- Contribute across the product development lifecycle, from algorithm prototypes to production software.
- Participate in failure-mode assessment and implement robust hazard-mitigation strategies.
- Maintain practical knowledge of state-of-the-art computer vision and sensor-fusion research.
- Work cross-functionally with experts in medical imaging, robotics, and software.
Requirements
- Master’s degree and four years of experience, or a PhD and at least one year of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in medical image analytics, computer vision, or machine learning.
- Exceptional working knowledge of Python and/or C++.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- High autonomy and technical ownership.
- Preferred: expertise in object-oriented programming.
- Preferred: knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, ITK, OpenCV, or other image-insights toolkits.
- Preferred: project experience in medical devices or another regulated industry.
