Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain large software systems for user voice model serving and other ML-based support needs.
- Prototype and build features and solutions in a changing environment.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and UX to complete tasks end-to-end and influence product requirements.
- Manage individual and project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Review other engineers’ code and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
- Participate in a 24x7 support rotation with strict service-level objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in Java and TypeScript, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- At least 2 years of experience integrating machine learning models in production environments.
- At least 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
- At least 1 year of experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to produce documentation for external technical audiences.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience working with Generative AI or Agentic AI technologies.
- Preferred: Excellent coding skills in C++ and Python, along with strong investigative, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
