Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements expressed in Statemate and define and update object-oriented software architectures.
- Maintain requirements traceability using DOORS and produce or update HOOD software design databases and Software Detailed Design documentation.
- Develop software modules according to requirements and the defined software design architecture.
- Prepare and maintain Software Development Plans, Software Test Plans, acceptance test documentation, release documentation, and formal review materials.
- Support source-code configuration control using Serena Dimension.
- Support hardware/software integration by defining simulation requirements, preparing automated test scripts, controlling test results, and investigating bench and rig issues.
- Prepare, execute, document, and analyze engineering and formal software acceptance tests.
- Investigate and resolve software problems reported through SPRs from system/subsystem rigs and flight testing.
- Participate in technical audits, meetings, and collaboration with systems engineering, integration, and quality teams.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in embedded safety-critical software development.
- Master’s degree in computer engineering or computer science preferred; equivalent qualifications in other engineering or scientific disciplines are accepted.
- Experience with software requirements analysis and management using Statemate, HOOD, and DOORS.
- Experience with avionics testing tools, hardware/software integration, automated test scripting, and analysis of formal test results.
- Excellent written and spoken English at B2 level or higher.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in teams, communicate clearly, plan and manage time, write technical documentation, solve problems, and work rigorously within standards and quality processes.
