Responsibilities
- Administer advanced functions in all data security systems.
- Independently troubleshoot data security systems and resolve technical issues.
- Perform system upgrades while adhering to change management procedures.
- Implement new functionality and operational improvements.
- Learn and document new systems and tools.
- Apply knowledge of systems, networking concepts, and common security control frameworks.
- Comply with organizational policies and standards and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent applicable experience.
- 2–4 years of related experience.
- Advanced understanding of data security systems and networking concepts.
- Basic knowledge of CIS CSC, NIST CSF, NIST 800-171, and ISO 27001 security control frameworks.
- Understanding of healthcare and large-corporation data patterns.
- Basic understanding of cloud application design and AI.
- Ability to troubleshoot independently, identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, Cloud Foundations, or Proofpoint Protection Server Administration certifications are preferred.
