Responsibilities
- Develop innovative Classification products as part of a team of experienced engineers.
- Lead projects by architecting, designing, and implementing core system solutions.
- Develop new features using a cloud-native technology stack.
- Continuously improve development processes by adopting new technologies.
- Raise the bar of code quality and standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience coding in languages such as Scala, Java, Rust, Closure, Kotlin, or Go.
- Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design and distributed systems.
- Experience with in-memory distributed cache like Aerospike or Redis and messaging systems like Apache Kafka.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and designing scalable microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or Cassandra.
- Experience in a big data environment and building scalable distributed systems with stream processing technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud providers such as GCP or AWS.
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Agile development and CI/CD pipelines.
- A versatile developer with a 'getting-things-done' attitude.
