Responsibilities
- Design cloud architectures using AWS services for strategic enterprise customers.
- Provide architectural and technical leadership for highly available, performant, scalable, and cost-optimized customer solutions.
- Guide customers through cloud migrations and adoption of advanced AWS-based solutions.
- Lead technical discussions with Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Cloud Architects, directors, vice presidents, and executives.
- Drive AWS adoption and revenue growth within assigned customer accounts.
- Partner with AWS service teams, marketing, professional services, and executive management.
- Mentor peers and customers and evangelize cloud infrastructure, engineering, and application-design best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- At least 10 years of experience architecting or operating solutions on a cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and software development tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
- At least 7 years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience or AWS Professional-level certification.
- Experience leading architecture and design for new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 10 years of experience designing and implementing large distributed systems with deep expertise in core infrastructure, solution architecture, and distributed computing patterns.
- Professional pre-sales consulting experience with presentation skills, executive engagement, and communication with stakeholders at all levels.
