Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of scalable full-stack applications.
- Develop reusable React and TypeScript UI components, hooks, libraries, and frameworks.
- Design and develop Node.js REST APIs and backend services.
- Work with Java and Spring Boot services on backend architecture and development.
- Drive technical decisions for microservices, event-driven, cloud-native, and multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
- Address scalability, performance, resiliency, availability, security, observability, testing, CI/CD, and deployment practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production and performance issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, platform teams, and engineering teams.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance while remaining hands-on.
- Lead proofs of concept, evaluate technologies, and improve architecture maintainability and system performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on full-stack development experience.
- Strong experience with React.js and TypeScript.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Java for scalable REST APIs and backend services.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+, object-oriented programming, and core computer science fundamentals.
- Experience with React Hooks, Redux, React Router, and reusable component development.
- Experience building reusable UI components, libraries, frameworks, or developer toolkits.
- Strong HTML5 and CSS skills, including styled-components or Emotion.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with REST APIs, API management, OAuth, and secure application integration.
- Working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming or messaging technologies.
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Azure and cloud scalability.
- Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and Agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving, architectural thinking, communication, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
