Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership in designing and developing software, web applications, distributed systems, and technical tools.
  • Design, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes and AWS ECS clusters and AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Operate observability systems for metrics, visualization, centralized logging, APM, and tracing using Grafana.
  • Manage infrastructure configuration with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation and build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and AWS CodeDeploy.
  • Administer Linux systems, cloud-native networking, load balancing, proxies, Aerospike databases, and message-passing systems.
  • Use Argo CD and Argo Workflows for container deployment and workflow management.
  • Support customer deployments, integrations, expansion projects, internal initiatives, and production issue escalations.
  • Improve production alerts across on-premises and AWS environments, identify root causes, and provide fix plans.
  • Collect product requirements, organize Scrum events, help shape business and technical strategy, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Seven years of experience developing software and web applications with Python and Bash and administering AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Grafana, Linux systems administration, HAProxy, Nginx, AWS ALB, AWS NLB, Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CodeDeploy, Envoy Proxy, gRPC, protobuf, Aerospike, Argo CD, OpenRTB, and VAST.
  • At least five years of experience performing configuration management with Ansible and creating CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
  • At least one year of experience with container orchestration, cluster design, and cluster management using Kubernetes and AWS ECS.
