Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of modern full-stack applications supporting sanctions screening and payment compliance workflows.
Build scalable, real-time solutions that process high transaction volumes with high availability and low latency.
Develop microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures integrating with enterprise payments and screening platforms.
Drive cloud-native modernization, containerization, automation, and platform observability initiatives.
Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.
Partner with Compliance, Financial Crimes, Product Management, Operations, and Architecture teams.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Participate in architecture and design reviews and influence strategic technology decisions.
Deliver solutions that meet sanctions compliance and financial crime prevention obligations.
Evaluate emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and system resilience.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
5–9 years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack development expertise.
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript or TypeScript, and React or Angular; Python is preferred.
Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL database platforms.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
