
Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of modern full-stack applications supporting sanctions screening and payment compliance workflows.
- Build scalable, real-time solutions that process high transaction volumes with high availability and low latency.
- Develop microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures integrating with enterprise payments and screening platforms.
- Drive cloud-native modernization, containerization, automation, and platform observability initiatives.
- Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.
- Partner with Compliance, Financial Crimes, Product Management, Operations, and Architecture teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews and influence strategic technology decisions.
- Deliver solutions that meet sanctions compliance and financial crime prevention obligations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and system resilience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 5–9 years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack development expertise.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript or TypeScript, and React or Angular; Python is preferred.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL database platforms.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
