Base Salary
$160k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable pipelines that ingest, clean, transform, and structure data.
- Build model and agent orchestration layers and APIs consumed by applications.
- Convert hand-rolled solutions into reusable platform primitives.
- Establish data quality frameworks and automated testing for data integrity and reliability.
- Own platform reliability, data integrity, access control, and sensitive-data handling.
- Implement data governance practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- At least 6 years of backend, data, or ML infrastructure engineering experience shipping production systems at scale.
- Strong data engineering experience with pipelines, transformations, and modeling messy real-world data.
- Experience building and operating APIs and services used by other engineers.
- Hands-on production experience with LLM orchestration, agent frameworks, or model serving.
- Experience with data security and access control, ideally involving regulated or sensitive data.
- Must be based in the NYC metro area and able to work on-site.
