Responsibilities

Lead the design and evolution of machine learning models for ads retrieval and ranking.
Own end-to-end ML systems, including training pipelines and online inference.
Apply advanced statistical and ML techniques to enhance ad relevance and seller outcomes.
Define experimentation strategies and success metrics for rigorous testing.
Establish model observability through metrics and dashboards.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
Stay current on advances in machine learning and drive their adoption.

M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of industry experience in building software and ML systems.
Experience in applied statistical and machine learning fields such as ads and recommendations.
Strong proficiency in Python and at least one ML stack like scikit-learn or PyTorch.
Solid backend development skills and experience deploying ML models to production.
Experience with data orchestration frameworks and feature store design.
Excellent product instincts and ability to translate business needs into ML solutions.
