Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver data-focused products for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop software using platforms and technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, AWS, Azure, Aliyun, .NET Core, Java, Scala, SQL Server, and GraphQL.
- Participate in design reviews and proof-of-concept development.
- Contribute to solution design aligned with the technical roadmap and industry best practices.
- Solve distributed systems, algorithmic, optimization, reliability, and large-scale data challenges.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and potentially manage small teams.
- Collaborate across diverse, mission-focused teams and contribute to product discovery and client-focused solutions.
Requirements
- Commercial object-oriented development experience in C#, Java, or C++ and software design.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Aliyun.
- Understanding of designing web-based, service-oriented applications and integrated back-office systems.
- Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git.
- Experience with Agile Scrum tools such as Jira.
- A sustained track record of significant, self-directed, end-to-end contributions to large and impactful software projects.
- Broad technical leadership experience developing web services and always-on systems across multiple technologies and service layers.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, ability to evaluate solutions from first principles, and ability to understand and communicate trade-offs.
- Product-focused mindset, creative problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn and innovate.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, value diverse perspectives, and contribute with confidence and without ego.
