Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship scalable software and AI-powered solutions for Windows trust, compliance, and engineering workflows.
- Apply modern AI technologies to real-world engineering problems and improve developer productivity and experiences.
- Partner with engineering and product/program management teams to define requirements and deliver customer and business impact.
- Drive software design, implementation, testing, measurement, reliability, and operational quality.
- Provide technical leadership, influence technical direction, mentor engineers, and contribute to continuous learning and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Preferred qualifications include 6+ years of software design and development experience.
- Experience applying AI technologies to software solutions, engineering workflows, or process transformation.
- Experience with software design, debugging, reliability, testing, measurement, and operational quality.
- Ability to drive projects from concept through delivery and influence technical decisions across teams.
- Effective communication, collaboration, technical leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $119,800–$234,700 per year, with a separate range for specified San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan locations.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position is open for a minimum of 5 days and accepts applications on an ongoing basis until filled.
