Base Salary
$173k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide security guidance for airline operators, ground-based systems, commercial aircraft platforms, PKI implementation, and cryptographic standards.
- Lead security risk assessments for connected airplane systems, ground-based information systems, and airborne software distribution.
- Manage security risks according to industry, professional, and government standards while ensuring security design integrity, availability, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, coordinate, and verify security requirements and mitigations with multiple system stakeholders.
- Perform security product requirements verification using inspection, analysis, demonstration, and testing methods.
- Conduct CVE analysis and coordinate vulnerability mitigation with system stakeholders.
- Develop technical data and documentation in accordance with security engineering processes and procedures.
- Lead interactions with Boeing teams, airline operators, industry standards organizations, and regulatory organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or a directly related non-U.S. equivalent qualification.
- At least 9 years of related engineering work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, electrical engineering, certification, network security, and/or cybersecurity.
- Experience applying engineering disciplines to product-related systems such as aircraft or avionics throughout the product development lifecycle is preferred.
- Experience with systems engineering, airplane configuration integration, airline operations and maintenance organizations, computing equipment, and operating systems is preferred.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and/or penetration testing, data analysis, report creation, and presentation is preferred.
- Certified Application Security Engineer, Security+, CISSP, or equivalent cybersecurity certification is preferred, with CISSP specifically preferred.
- Must meet U.S. export-control requirements as a U.S. Person.
