Responsibilities
- Design and develop user-facing web applications for the Settlements platform.
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of new front-end components and features.
- Handle build and deployment activities, including support during maintenance windows.
- Create software tests, verify functionality, and maintain high software quality.
- Provide second-tier production support for 24/7 applications and troubleshoot development, QA, and production issues.
- Maintain test environments and create environment-specific configurations and applications as needed.
- Partner with UX designers, business analysts, and product managers to translate requirements into intuitive interfaces.
- Create design documentation and identify opportunities to improve and optimize applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience building modern, user-facing web applications.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with React.
- Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience with state management such as Redux and component-based architecture.
- Experience building user-centric web applications focused on usability, workflows, and performance.
- Understanding of security concerns for web applications and backend/server-side concepts.
- Experience writing comprehensive unit tests and performing regression testing.
- Experience with software testing tools and producing high-quality software.
- Experience with tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins, or Gradle, or equivalent tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude is preferred.
- Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment.
