Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead Java and Spring application engineering for sustainment, modernization, and enhancement activities.
- Develop and review complex application enhancements and defect corrections.
- Translate architectural designs into software implementation and conduct code reviews.
- Mentor Java developers and enforce development standards.
- Support Tier 3 production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical debt reduction, and application maintainability.
- Coordinate with integration, database, test, cyber, and DevSecOps personnel and participate in design and release-readiness reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline, or four additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 8 years of professional software-development experience.
- Strong Java and Spring/Spring Boot experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, REST API and web-service development, relational databases and SQL, and Git/source control.
- Experience with automated unit testing, technical leadership, and mentoring.
- U.S. citizenship and required Secret eligibility.
- Preferred experience includes CI/CD, DevSecOps, DoD classified software, and JPES/JCRM/JOPES.
