Responsibilities
- Own and deliver individual work packages within larger workstreams to the quality and timeline standards set by technical leads or architects.
- Implement Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform components from technical designs and design smaller components within the broader architecture.
- Develop custom plug-ins, JavaScript form scripts, PCF controls, Azure Functions, and other pro-code solutions.
- Implement AI and emerging technology features using Microsoft Copilot Studio and autonomous agents.
- Integrate Azure services with Dataverse and execute and troubleshoot ALM deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Participate in peer code reviews and conduct initial reviews of junior colleagues’ work.
- Support junior developers and consultants through pairing, issue resolution, and technical guidance.
- Provide task-level estimates and technical input while maintaining coding standards and minimizing technical debt.
Requirements
- Solid hands-on senior developer experience specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks for customization and PCF control development.
- Practical experience with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Azure Functions, integrated with Dataverse.
- Working knowledge of ALM and DevOps, including pipeline-based deployments in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Ability to design smaller components within an architecture defined by a Technical Lead or Architect.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining implementation decisions to peers and stakeholders.
- Hold or be actively working toward PL-400 (Power Platform Developer Associate).
- Hold active Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain Security Clearance.
- Desirable experience implementing generative AI features with Azure OpenAI Service and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Desirable experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Exposure to data migration involving transformations from legacy SQL or Oracle systems to Dataverse.
