Responsibilities
- Drive customer workshops and discovery to understand AI requirements and develop enterprise architectures.
- Design and document high-level and low-level Nutanix AI and Kubernetes solutions for private, public, and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Architect GPU-enabled Kubernetes platforms supporting model deployment, inference, RAG, and enterprise AI workloads.
- Design scalable compute, networking, storage, security, and observability architectures.
- Deploy Nutanix solutions in customer environments and serve as a senior technical escalation point.
- Develop reusable reference architectures, design patterns, implementation guides, consulting intellectual property, and best practices.
- Lead strategic pre-sales engagements and partner with Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Solutions teams.
- Mentor Staff Consulting Architects and Consultants and strengthen regional technical capability.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience across infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, Kubernetes, AI/ML, or enterprise architecture, including recent AI solution design and deployment.
- Strong expertise in AI, Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud architecture, GPU infrastructure, and enterprise AI/ML platforms.
- Experience with GenAI, RAG, model serving, MLOps/LLMOps, networking, storage, security, automation, APIs, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and GitOps.
- Strong troubleshooting and architecture skills across virtualization, Kubernetes, networking, storage, GPU, and AI platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Excellent customer-facing consulting, presentation, executive communication, and technical leadership skills.
- Preferred qualifications include APJ customer engagement leadership, English and Mandarin fluency, Nutanix NCP, NAI, or NCX certifications, CKA or CKAD certification, NVIDIA GPU experience, Terraform, Ansible, AWS, Azure, SDN, micro-segmentation, and Zero Trust architecture experience.
