Cognite - AI for IndustryResponsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for customer implementations.
- Provide strategic and technical expertise to customers and customer-facing project teams.
- Define enterprise and solution architectures, integration and data models, ingestion pipelines, and user-facing solutions.
- Use architecture modeling tools to communicate complex technical solutions.
- Ensure operational responsibility and support agreements for delivered solutions.
- Build relationships with C-level executives, IT and business data managers, and other key stakeholders to drive long-term adoption.
- Train internal teams and partners in the architect’s area of specialization.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management to translate customer needs into prioritized product offerings.
- Independently manage integration, data modeling, and related work using Cognite connectors and extractors, SQL, Python or Java, REST APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Develop and maintain technical and business expertise in Cognite’s products.
- Travel as needed to work directly with international customers.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or Solutions Architect, with progression into architecture and design leadership.
- At least 5 years in a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, or Enterprise Architect role delivering end-to-end enterprise solutions.
- Experience supporting scaling SaaS, B2B software, or technology organizations in high-growth or enterprise environments.
- Strong backend software engineering background with hands-on Python and/or Java proficiency and the ability to contribute code when needed.
- Experience designing complex enterprise integrations involving data ingestion pipelines, API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native solutions.
- Experience working with enterprise customers in industrial domains such as Manufacturing, Energy, Oil & Gas, Process Industries, Pharma, or Life Sciences.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes/Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to build strong relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, and technical stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Energy, Oil & Gas, Pharma, or Life Sciences is preferred.
