Base Salary
$142k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop data platform infrastructure strategy and contribute to the Platform Engineering team’s technical roadmap.
- Design, build, implement, automate, and document platform solutions for engineering and product teams.
- Lead architecture, prototyping, implementation, and high-impact cross-functional technical projects.
- Provide technical leadership and follow through on execution of technical plans.
- Build cross-functional relationships and mentor junior team members.
- Support risk management and the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of related industry experience.
- Experience with on-premise and AWS Cloud infrastructure, containers, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, code management platforms, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Harness, GitLab, Artifactory, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and a major programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Shell.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, and technical tradeoff decision-making skills.
- Background and drug screen required.
- Preferred qualifications include additional related education or experience, a master’s degree, AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification, Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification, Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional certification, and FinTech experience.
