Base Salary
$216k - $324k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the technical strategy and architectural vision for the Messaging Infra platform.
- Serve as the primary architect to build and improve high-volume message delivery systems.
- Drive technical leadership to guide architectural decisions across multiple teams.
- Oversee and execute the planning and rollout of major software releases.
- Act as a go-to expert for diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues.
- Mentor other engineers to develop new technical leadership.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment across teams.
- Stay current with emerging technologies to improve systems and processes.
Requirements
- 12 years of experience in software development with strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals.
- Proven ability to build and scale complex distributed systems.
- BA or BS Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Deep expertise in programming languages like Python and Go, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Demonstrated experience in defining technical strategies and influencing architectural decisions.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience with AI tools and workflows is a plus.
- Familiarity with the email and/or SMS ecosystem is a nice-to-have.
