Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance React applications.
- Provide technical leadership while contributing hands-on production-quality code.
- Define front-end architecture, engineering patterns, and development standards.
- Build reusable components, libraries, and frameworks using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Make technical decisions involving application architecture, state management, API integration, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and enterprise services in collaboration with back-end engineers.
- Drive automated testing using Jest and React Testing Library.
- Conduct technical design and code reviews and resolve complex engineering problems.
- Address performance, scalability, technical debt, and production stability concerns.
- Modernize existing applications and migrate from legacy front-end technologies.
- Mentor engineers and strengthen engineering capability across the team.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX, architecture, QA, DevOps, and global business stakeholders.
- Own technical delivery from design and implementation through deployment and production support.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant enterprise web application development.
- Strong recent hands-on React development experience.
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Deep understanding of React architecture, Hooks, component design, and reusable application patterns.
- Strong experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of client-side architecture, design patterns, and application performance.
- Experience with automated testing using Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern build and package tooling.
- Understanding of secure web-development principles and enterprise application security.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical and production issues and lead technical discussions.
- Experience working in Agile engineering environments and delivering well-tested, documented code to tight schedules.
- Ability to use AI tools productively while applying critical judgment to responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
