Responsibilities
- Build distributed data-path or control-path software for a converged computing and storage platform in private or public cloud environments.
- Optimize software for high performance and scale.
- Design solutions for complex distributed-system and customer requirements.
- Develop performance, scale-out, and resiliency features.
- Collaborate with development, test, documentation, and product management teams to deliver high-quality products.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant Software Engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience developing distributed software.
- Strong programming skills in one or more of C++, Python, or Golang.
- Understanding of UNIX/Linux.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred familiarity with OS internals, distributed data management, virtualization, storage management, and clustered, high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
