Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade SaaS applications using AI agents and tooling throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Build and maintain MCP servers connecting AI systems to codebases, APIs, databases, and internal tools.
- Design and maintain knowledge repositories, including vector databases, retrieval pipelines, and embedding strategies.
- Own end-to-end architecture decisions covering service boundaries, API contracts, data models, integrations, observability, reliability, and technical debt.
- Build backend services, APIs, data models, and scalable business software while addressing performance, reliability, security, and operational needs.
- Use AI agents for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, code review, documentation, architecture drafting, requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Requirements
- Senior-level software development experience with ownership of architecture decisions and systems designed from scratch.
- Hands-on production experience building AI-agent systems that use LLMs to plan, use tools, and execute reliable multi-step tasks.
- Practical experience building or consuming MCPs to connect AI models with tools, APIs, codebases, or data sources.
- Experience designing and maintaining knowledge repositories, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and embedding strategies.
- Experience using Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot as structured development tools beyond autocomplete.
- Strong backend development skills and experience shipping production SaaS applications.
- Experience designing APIs, data models, and service integrations used by other developers.
- Preferred experience with PHP or .NET, MySQL or Oracle, distributed systems, message queues, vertical SaaS or B2B products, and small high-ownership teams.
