Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end testing architectures and scalable, maintainable test frameworks.
- Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
- Execute test cases, follow test steps, and report defects with reproducible steps and evidence.
- Understand user stories and business requirements documents to determine appropriate test coverage.
- Lead improvements to testing strategies, processes, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Provide strategic technical direction and quality engineering leadership.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute solutions to work-related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality objectives with project goals.
- Participate actively in team discussions and independently serve as a subject matter expert.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of overall professional experience.
- At least three years of experience in Functional Test Planning.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
- Strong knowledge of designing and implementing test architectures for complex software systems.
- Experience developing scalable and maintainable test frameworks.
- Ability to analyze and optimize testing processes.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and quality assurance best practices.
- Experience in a Banking domain is required.
- Experience with test management and defect tools such as Jira.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
