Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end testing architectures and scalable test frameworks for complex software systems.
- Create and execute functional, system, integration, and regression testing activities.
- Plan test cases, follow test steps, and raise defects with reproducible steps and supporting evidence.
- Understand user stories and BRDs to determine appropriate testing coverage.
- Lead improvements to testing strategies, methodologies, and processes.
- Provide technical leadership, strategic quality engineering guidance, and solutions to work-related problems.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality objectives with project goals.
- Apply banking domain knowledge to identify appropriate test scenarios and defects.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of overall professional experience is required.
- At least 10 years of experience in Functional Test Planning is required.
- Proficiency in Functional Test Planning is required.
- Strong knowledge of designing and implementing test architectures for complex software systems.
- Experience developing scalable and maintainable test frameworks.
- Ability to analyze and optimize testing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and quality assurance best practices.
- Experience with test management and defect tools such as Jira.
- Banking domain experience is expected.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as a subject matter expert.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
