Base Salary
$160k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve highly available, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure for Commerce Media services across cloud environments.
- Build and automate deployment, configuration management, and release pipelines to improve release safety and developer velocity.
- Develop and operate observability frameworks covering metrics, logs, traces, alerting, and dashboards.
- Drive SLOs, capacity planning, incident response, on-call operations, and post-incident reviews for critical workloads.
- Collaborate with product engineering, data, security, and operations teams on infrastructure architecture and reliability improvements.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software engineering or SRE experience, including ownership of production systems at scale in a cloud environment.
- Experience operating large-scale distributed systems on public cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Helm.
- Strong proficiency in at least one of Go, Java, or Python for building infrastructure tools, services, and automation.
- Ability to solve complex reliability and scalability problems through iterative, measurable improvements.
- Experience contributing significantly to incident management, on-call operations, and continuous reliability improvement.
- Ability to partner with product engineers, data engineers, security teams, and operations stakeholders.
