Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain load-testing and fault-injection infrastructure for resilience validation
- Own platform components from architecture and implementation through testing, deployment, and iteration
- Collaborate with infrastructure and product engineering teams to translate resilience-testing needs into platform capabilities and drive adoption
- Define steady-state hypotheses, blast-radius controls, and fault-injection primitives for safe, repeatable chaos experiments
- Write clean, well-tested production code and participate in technical design discussions
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with strong coding skills in Python, Go, or a similar language
- Experience with load testing, fault injection, chaos engineering, or developer productivity infrastructure in distributed systems
- Solid understanding of distributed-systems fundamentals, service failures, failure propagation, and safe resilience experiments
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container-based infrastructure
- Experience integrating resilience tooling into CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- A builder-focused approach to developer tooling, including attention to ergonomics, adoption, and developer usability
