Responsibilities
- Provide cloud security expertise and guidance on security best practices and defense-in-depth strategies.
- Deploy security controls across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
- Create and enforce security and operational controls aligned with company security policies.
- Partner with functional teams and stakeholders to resolve security configuration issues.
- Perform technical risk assessments and verify that solutions meet secure architecture requirements.
- Assess the impact of security deficiencies, communicate risks, and recommend mitigations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience implementing security solutions.
- Strong cybersecurity background, including knowledge of cyber threat vectors and countermeasures.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix, Windows, cloud infrastructure, cloud security, networking, and network security.
- Strong knowledge of anti-virus and anti-malware, SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability scanning, DLP, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Strong experience with scripting and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with security frameworks such as SOC1, SOC2, HITRUST, and ISO.
- Solid understanding of audit methodologies and processes.
- Experience working with virtual teams in a global environment and strong communication, presentation, partnership, and leadership skills.
- Preferred: experience developing and operationalizing vulnerability management programs, container-based architectures, and security or cloud certifications.
